We are working on Medical billing for many years but most of us don’t know the exact Medicare filing limit or they are not sure about the way Medicare working.
Here is the correct way. Usually every month has different days of filing limit.
• For dates of service from October 2006 through September 2007, claims should have been received by December 31, 2008.
• For dates of service from October 2007 through September 2008, claims must be received by December 31, 2009
